Harley Davidson Adapter – required for some Harley’s
These photos show the switch housing/throttle housing that some Harley Davidson’s have. The ring is the adapter. In order for the cruise control unit to adhere to the housing, the housing must have a mostly flat side. As you can see in the bottom photo, when the adapter is mounted to the housing, it provides a flat surface.
If needed, you can download the top photo and blow it up. Harley owners should take a look at their housing before ordering the cruise control to see if they have this type of housing.
